Easy to make, yet unbelievably tasty, feel free to use pancetta instead of bacon if desired
Bring a pot of water to boil and add 25g penne per person. Cook until al dente. Meanwhile cut the bacon into strips and fry until lightly golden. Add the crushed garlic and parsley and cook for a few seconds, then remove from the heat and set aside. Drain the pasta well and tip into the frying pan with the other ingredients. Add the beaten egg and half the grated cheese. Season with salt & pepper and toss. Put into a serving dish and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
